Cassie Scerbo is an American actress, dancer and singer who was first in the spotlight after she was picked for the all-girl pop-band 'Slumber Party Girls' that hosted the children's music variety show Dance Revolution on CBS in the late 2000s. Later, she became well-known for her roles on Bring It On: It's In It To win It (Direct-to-Video) as well as ABC Family Drama It or Break It. However, she is best famous for her character Nova Clarke from four of the six movies in the Sharknado famous pop-culture phenomenon. Scerbo likes to play sports, she's physically fit, and is an active charitable person. Scerbo devotes her life to environmental causes as well as other public issues such as sexual slavery or cancer awareness in Africa. Additionally, she's famous for visiting children's wards in Los Angeles. Scerbo was a former student in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas school, Parkland Florida. In 2010 she did however leave the college to study at the Slade School of Fine Art in University College London for a period of time. She began creating music at a young age. Beginning in 2008, she started sharing songs from her album via her MySpace profile. Music is a magnet to an organizer of illegal basement raves. Charli began attending events under her stage name Charli. Soon, her songs became pop hits in her area and she dropped the singles "Franchesckaar!" Emelline/Art Bitch and!Franchesckaar' as her next singles. She signed in 2010 to Asylum Records. Alex Metric's voice can be evident on the track End of the World which came out in 2011. True Romance, her debut album, was launched on April 13th, 2013, a day after her birthday. It received positive praise. Within the first week it climbed to No. 85 on the U.K. Charts for Albums. Charli began working immediately on her album. Soon, she was featured in the hit song Fancy by Australian rapper Iggy Azalea. In the Billboard Hot 100 ranked the song number one across the United States. The album she released her debut album, titled Sucker was released in 2014 and quickly became an international sensation. The album was ranked at number 28 on Billboard 200. Additionally, it got positive review from the critics. Break the Rules from this album was a chart-topper in a number of countries. She announced in July 2015 she was working on her third album.
