Simone Biles
Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) She was regarded as the best athlete in sport. The 2016 Olympics took place in Rio de Janeiro and Biles became the U.S.'s only female gymnast ever to win 4 gold medals. Biles also took home the title of world champion for all-around three times consecutively (2013-15). Biles as well as her siblings Adria Biles and Ronald Biles were taken in as infants by their grandparents from Houston. Simone began to be interested in gymnastics while she was only six years old. Her coach Aimee Borman invited her to Bannon's Gymnastix which was where they went for an outing. Biles was a winner in the vault and floor exercises at the 2009 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before becoming an elite competition level in 2011. Two years later, she was the most dominant athlete in the field. What stood Biles apart was her consistency her fun-loving personality, and the extreme level of effort she put into her workout routines for all four events--vault uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercises.
