Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actress, playback singer and a musician who works most often in Tamil as well as Malayalam film languages. Annayum's Rasoolum has marked her Malayalam and Tamil debuts as an actor. Andrea Jeremiah was born into an Anglo-Indian Family in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea Jeremiah's father works as a lawyer in the Madras High Court. She also has a younger sister, who works as a research associate Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah is a native of Chennai. in Chennai went to National Public School. He completed his studies at Women's Christian College. Andrea started studying classical piano at the age of eight. Andrea was a huge fan of geeks and wanted to be a psychiatrist. Young Stars was the Jackson Five band Andrea joined after turning 10 years old. The band led her to her first singing career and early music composition. While at college she also was an actor and appeared in stage shows organized by The Madras Players. She played a minor role on the Kanda Mudhal finale (2005). She sang a song for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu. The director asked her to be one of his female leads on Pachaikili Muthucharam. This film was a film adaptation of the novel by James Siegel Derailed, with Andrea playing Kalyani who is a housewife her husband who is caught in a sexual affair and gets blackmailed. Andrea was chosen to play the character following Simran, Tabu, and Tabu had been approached. The film came out in early 2010. It was announced in the early part of 2010. for a role in the film. Venkat Prabhu was in Mankatha. Mankatha was released on August 11 in 2011. Annayum Rasoolum, a romantic film directed by Rajeeev Ravi, that was released in 2013, was her Malayalam debut.
