Lis Wiehl works as an American journalist and legal analyst who previously worked as a Fox News analyst.
She is an adjunct professor of law of law at New York Law School. Prior to that, she worked as an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. She was a legal commentator on Bill O'Reilly's radio show and National Public Radio. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly, The Kelly File with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl is a native of Yakima, and raised at Yakima in Washington State, graduated in Yakima at West Valley High School. She holds the degree of Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) as well as a JD from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. She served as the legal correspondent for NPR All Things Considered. She was Chief Investigating Counsel for the Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee, during the impeachment of Clinton. She taught law as a tenured professor at University of Washington School of Law Seattle which she was the manager of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 through 2001. Wiehl was an analyst for Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 to 2017.
